The Only Way to Heaven

The Bible speaks about God’s love and kindness but also speaks of His Justice. For those who do not care about the things of God, the Bible states:
Since they don’t want anything to do with God, they will have their request granted for all eternity. (Romans 1:28)

While on earth, there is still a decision to be made. It is possible to believe there is no life after death or not to believe in either heaven or hell or in God’s judgment. Some simply think ‘Well who really knows? I’ll just find out when I get there.’ And decide to live life because the world says ‘We only live once’ but do we really do?

Still Neutral About Eternity?

The decision to sit on the fence and not make a decision to accept or reject Jesus Christ by been neutral is already a road that leads to destruction.

A lack of decision is in fact a decision.

Been neutral would not make heaven anyone’s destination, thinking or hoping to make heaven by been ‘good’ on earth doesn’t guarantee our destination should be heaven.

The All Knowing Teacher

In John 7:15, Jesus was teaching in the temple during the Festivals of Shelters and a peculiar question was asked among the crowd. “How does he know so much when he hasn’t been trained?”

This question obviously implied that for one to be able to speak or teach boldly in the temple, they must have undergone some sort of training. But if Jesus had not been trained by neither a Pharisee nor a teacher of the law, how then was he able to know so much?

Cast A Stone If You Are Without Sin

When the teachers of religious laws and the Pharisees brought to Jesus a woman who had been caught in adultery, they waited for Jesus to rebuke her and castigate her according to the law of Moses, where they can also trap Jesus by His words. Jesus’ reply took them by surprise when He said, ‘Alright, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!’

The Pharisees where stunned by Jesus’ choice of judgement so one after the other, they slipped away, beginning with the oldest until it was only Jesus Christ that was left. None of them could cast the first stone because they knew they were not without sin even as teachers of religious laws, if they’d punished the woman according to the laws of Moses due to her sin, they would have also been found guilty. So the Bible said, ‘and then they began going out, conscience-stricken, one by one, from the oldest down to the last one of them, till Jesus was left alone, with the woman standing there before Him in the center of the court.’ (John 8:9 AMP)

Finding and Feeding Your Focus

Focus is anything that consumes your attention, time, energy and finance.

Spiritual vision is our capacity to see clearly what God wants us to do and see the world from His point of view. But spiritual insight can be easily clouded with self-serving desires, interests and goals that blocks that vision. A good eye is one that is fixed on God.

TEXT: Matthew 6:22, Phil 3: 13-14

You will have many wonderful and inspired ideas throughout your lifetime. But again, an idea is not necessary a command from God. When God is involved, it will not be simply an idea, it will be an instruction or command.
