There exists a factor that propels every man to act in a particular way. Some people are driven by love, some by selfish ambitions, some by an obsession for more and some by fear.

What Propels You?

Fear is the awful emotion that you experience when you are in danger or when a particular thing frightens you. Fear is a harmful and repulsive force that tries to dominate the emotions and the will of man, having that man to act in an odd way.

Can Fear Keep A Man From His Creator?

If people will truly examine the reason why they are not saved (received the free gift of salvation which is available to all men), many will realize their reason besides unbelief is FEAR.

“But because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue”. – John 12:42

Different kinds of fear keep many people away from coming close or even getting to know their creator. They are afraid of what their religious leaders will say, basically because they may belong to another religion but now believe that faith in Christ Jesus can save them. Some have fear of their peer group, fear of being ridiculed by sin partners, fear of relying solely on God because they believe they won’t be able to take shortcuts and illegal routes in achieving their goals.
Some have fear of deprivation of personal ambitions and lust.

“Jesus said unto him, if thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give it to the poor, and thou shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions”. – Matthew 19:21-22

Some claim they need to enjoy and ‘flex life first’, probably when they get married, they will turn to really follow and obey God. Some others are church goers but have no God-life in them because their hearts are not subject to God’s law. (Romans 8:7)

Revelation 21:8 says that:
“Cowards who turn their back from following God, are the first category of people who will go to hell”

What category do you belong?

Are you one of those people who do not believe they need Jesus Christ to have a right relationship with God?

“Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me”

Your acts of morality and religiosity cannot save your soul. The only thing that can save your soul is a loving and growing relationship with God through the only sure way He has provided – “faith in JESUS CHRIST”. (John 3:16)

Who told you that being Born Again is burdensome?

“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” – Matthew 11:28

Don’t be like the rich fool that was sufficient of earthly possessions but not towards God. (Luke 12:20-21)
Jesus gives a life of freedom and not bondage. (John 8:36) (Romans 8:15)

You need not fear the devil. God is a loving father who is dependable. He does not withhold any good thing from his children so don’t let fear (or anything else) keep you away from your creator.

Fear that you will lose your place among your friends, fear of parents or religious leaders, fear of devil becoming your enemy and every other kind of fear should be shunned. When you become a member of God’s family through faith in his only begotten son, God personally takes up your battles, sees you through challenges and even greatly blesses you in this life and in eternity.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 says:
“You should seek God in the days of your youth.”

God exalts His children and whatever command He gives is for our own good. God supply to the needs and request of His people is never late and He delights in the success of His children. If you become His child, expect to receive love from Him.

If you want to surrender your life to Jesus, first believe He can save your soul and then ask Him in prayer to come into your life and make you a new person. Begin to read the bible and talk to God in prayer through the name of Jesus Christ. When you have troubles, remember He cares. He wants to help you. JUST PRAY!
