We try to be faithful in the many things that we do and yet sorrow or sickness seems to follow us all the time! It does not seem to be fair and once in a while this even shakes the roots of our faith. We probably wonder if it is even worth our while praying because sometimes it appears that God is not even listening. Friends, Even the most Godly people are not exempted; from the trials of life. (John 16:33) Jesus had already made it clear that as long as we are in this world, we will have many trails and sorrows as long as we live in this world and the ruler of this world is the devil. Apostle Paul made it clear to us when he said our battle isn’t with flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, against rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places. These are the entities that brings the tribulation, frustration, distress and trails in the life of a believer, their job is to frustrate and oppress us.
Whatever problem that must have brought tears to your eyes, God sees them. Your tears can break the heart of God. It doesn’t take long for God to respond to a tearful sincere heart take Hezekiah for example (2 Kings 20:1-3). A time is coming and I believe it is not far away when God shall wipe away every tear from our eyes; there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. But until then we must be of good courage and fight the good fight trusting in our Lord to bring healing and wholeness to our life. Jesus Christ has overcome the world in other words He has deprived it of its power to harm us because He has conquered it for us. In this reason we must be confident and take courage in every situation we find ourselves in and also have peace even in such situation.
But keeping it in mind that God sees everything we go through and calling out His name in times of trouble will set us free from it. God changed his mind when he saw the tears of Hezekiah. God can change his mind for you too, if you will only believe and cry out in your heart and ask for help He will hear you, and will heal your land.
Hold on to the faith you believe in and keep trusting God.
